I recently visited Starving Artist for breakfast, and overall, it was a great experience! I ordered the seasonal "Something Good Crepe," which was a savory delight with brie, turkey slices, and a tangy cranberry jam on top. It was light and flavorful—definitely a unique combination. My girlfriend tried the Crepedilla, which was essentially a savory quesadilla in crepe form. It was good, but not as exciting as the other dishes. One of the great things about Starving Artist is that they offer the option to make any of their crepes gluten-free, which is a fantastic choice for those with dietary restrictions. It’s always nice to have a place where you can enjoy a delicious meal without having to compromise on flavor or texture, and the gluten-free crepes here are just as tasty as the regular ones. It’s a thoughtful touch that makes the dining experience even more inclusive! We also shared the "Spiced and Something Nice" crepe, which was a simple yet absolutely amazing dessert. The cinnamon and sugar paired perfectly with the butter, and the side of maple syrup added the right touch. For drinks, the seasonal Egg Nog Latte was a must-try—so decadent and flavorful, it was the perfect winter treat. The only downside was the seating, which felt a bit uncomfortable, and the live music, which didn’t quite fit the vibe for us. Still, everything else was wonderful, and I’d definitely come back for the food and the latte!

Lively, spacious restaurant! Great for groups. I was impressed by the food, especially the wide variety of gluten free options. I assume they must have a GF fryer because there were some non-traditional gluten free options, such as sesame chicken. I enjoyed the salmon bowl and brussels sprouts. The guacamole was great as well. I think these were the most crispy tater tots I have ever had. The menu is quite broad, you will find something for everyone.

Gluten free options are available, but very little effort is put into it. The kids gluten free “grilled cheese” was a hamburger bun with cheese in it. Very disappointing for a 10 year old. Server also didn’t understand how the gluten free items on the menu were served. The other food was average at best. I appreciate the effort to help people with issues with gluten, but this was a poor effort.

So many simple problems that can be fixed easily. So close to being a really great place. The menu is good, the food is good and includes choices for veg and gluten free. Big beer selection and a nice bar. The atmosphere is lively. BUT… The service is slow and inconsistent. STOP putting mains on top of your fries! The fries are really good, except for the ones sitting under the fish or other mains on the plate that are now soggy. You have runners bringing the food out. Great! My food won’t sit waiting for a server who may be tied up. But then I ask the runner for something - condiments - and the wait is on…. I won’t see them or my server for a while…ugh. The bar is busy and a great place to eat. They’re too busy so service is bad and slow. There are no condiments at the bar - tried it both ways! Can I just get some ketchup and salt and pepper please?! And when you bring the ketchup, a little ramekin won’t do… when will I ever see you again to ask for more?? These and a few others are so easy to fix. Potential is here…

Had dinner delivered, the online ordering was easy to use and I love the allergy alert options. I'm gluten free and don't have many options for food delivery.
