The person making the pizza was amazing! I was worried about the gluten free pizza and he explained they don’t use the press for it, changed his gloves, and made sure they didn’t use the same sauce or brush on the gluten free pizza. He even made sure he could do the cinnamon pizza gluten free.

Last week, I met my girlfriends for lunch at Urban Plates, my first time at this restaurant. I was initially impressed with their idea of fresh and healthy eating as well as their food selection, including highlighting meals that are vegan and/or gluten-free. I was optimistic that my food allergies for gluten, garlic, and dairy would be accommodated. However, my excitement soon vanished when I tried to order. I was notified that everything is cooked with garlic; they were only able to offer steamed asparagus without garlic! The sad truth is, that those fresh and organic vegetables are smothered in garlic seasoning! Imagine promoting freshness and organic and then you cook those delights with some cheap seasoning instead of adding FRESH garlic for those who want it! It was such a disgusting a disappointing experience that only deserves one remark: CULINARY DISASTER!!! Not sure what Chef is responsible for these decisions! ADDITIONAL COMMENT AFTER RESTAURANT'S RESPONSE: I had arrived early and talked with the staff about my needs; the manager talked to the kitchen staff and confirmed that they are using seasoning in all the side dishes (except for asparagus that can the steamed). While waiting for my friends to arrive, I was observing and did see the shelf with all the many, many seasoning containers.... The carrot-beet dish was so full of seasoning that I could not even recognize the flavor of a carrot or a beet. AGAIN: you promote organic freshness which means I expect to be able to enjoy the FLAVORS of the vegetable instead of seasoning with strong garlic flavor.... It was a horrible experience and defeats the purpose of eating fresh vegetables. Incredibly disappointing!

Ordered the Garlic Cream Fettucini and it was dry so we asked for more sauce. It had to be approved by the manager since it was made to order. They made more sauce and brought it out. I also ordered the gluten free BBQ chicken pizza and it was great! My daughter even like it and stole a piece!

Found this restaurant through both a Google Maps search of “gluten free” restaurants and confirmation via the “Find Me GF” app. I was pleasantly surprised to see the number of GF offerings — and the care taken by the team — the menu was clearly labeled and I felt like the team cared about providing good food. However, for the price of $28 dollars for a GF pizza (which was no bigger than 6 slices), I truly expected a lot more flavor and quality of dough. This pizza, while I appreciated the offerings of toppings and creativeness of pizza creations, the crust was overcooked on the bottom, bland, and all around in memorable. Thinking it was only my GF pizza what was lacking flavor, I asked my dinner companions who had the roasted chicken and a salad — and both reported than while the dishes were “fine”, they were not worth the price point. I share this review recognizing that restaurants can have off nights — we all ate our meals and expressed no concerns to the team at the restaurant because maybe our expectations on flavor were not what the restaurant offers. The ingredients appeared fresh and the service was lovely. I would simply note that for the food we experienced, we would probably go somewhere else if we visited the area again.
